Managing your organization settings

The Manage organization settings area allows administrators to customize business details, configure default payment options, set up user permissions, and view organization team members.

Access these options by navigating to Manage organization and selecting one of the three main tabs: Business details, Permissions, or Sub users.

1. Business details tab

The Business details tab contains two primary sections: Organization details and Default settings.

Organization details

  • Legal name: Your registered business name. This displays on legal documents and official transaction receipts.
  • Display name: The friendly trading name shown to customers on quotes and invoices
  • Business email: The primary contact email address associated with your organization.
  • Business address: Your physical or mailing address, which appears in the header or footer of customer-facing documents.
  • GST/HST number: Your 9-digit CRA business registration number plus a four-digit account number (e.g. 0001). When entered, this automatically displays on issued invoices for tax compliance.
  • Tax inclusive / exclusive: Choose whether your item rates automatically include tax in the total price (Tax inclusive) or add tax on top of item rates at checkout (Tax exclusive).
  • Brand color: Select a primary HEX colour code to stylize your content.
  • Brand logo: Upload your official business logo image to display at the top of your quotes and invoices.

Default settings

Configurations saved here automatically pre-populate every time you create a new draft quote or invoice.

Default payment options

Select the primary payment channels you wish to offer by default:

  • Interac e-Transfer: Connect a business bank account to automatically receive direct Interac Money Requests.
  • EFT (Direct deposit): Display account and transit details on invoices for electronic bank transfers.
  • Cash: Enable cash acceptance for in-person transactions.
  • Cheque: Display mailing instructions and payable-to details for physical cheques.

Document defaults

  • Currency: Currently locked to CAD — Canadian Dollar.
  • Quote expiry: Set the default number of days a quote remains valid after being sent (e.g., 30 days).
  • Default payment terms: Choose the standard due date timeline assigned to new invoices (e.g., Net 15, Net 30, or Due on receipt).
  • Payment check-in reminders: Toggle on or off automated reminders which will prompt you to check if a payment has been received.
  • Send reminders: Enable automated payment reminders for outstanding invoices and set the timing (e.g., Enabled, 7 days before due).
  • Automatic receipts: Toggle whether payment receipts are automatically generated and sent upon payment completion.
  • Invoice date: Select how the invoice date is set when sending (e.g., Keep the issue date to the drafting date, not the scheduled send date)

2. Permissions and Sub-users tab

The Permissions tab allows Admins to define feature access levels for standard users (User role). The Sub users tab displays a directory of all team members currently attached to your ATB Invoicing organization.

3. Managing credentials and organization info elsewhere

Certain profile details and organization parameters are managed centrally through your ATB Business online banking account rather than inside ATB Invoicing.

Updating personal account details

  • Business name and email: Update these within your primary ATB business profile. The next time you sign into ATB Invoicing, your updated name and email will automatically flow through.
  • Password: Reset your password from the main ATB sign-in page using the standard ATB password-reset flow.
  • MFA method: Multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings and device authorizations are managed directly by ATB, not within ATB Invoicing.
